TPM Data Marriage System
The primary function of a TPM Data Marriage System is to gather serial numbers from each TPM stem after assemblies
have been mounted on a vehicle. The vehicle requires the TPM stem serial numbers to operate its on-board TPM system. The Esys Data Marriage
System provides the highest read rates on the market while operating in demanding production environments.
The Data Marriage System Includes:
Main Control Panel (MCP):
The MCP houses all the power distribution, control equipment, PLC, and HMI interface to operate the antennas and
talk to plant systems.
Main Station Antennas:
There is one main antenna (29" x 46") located on each side of the line in a staggered configuration. The antennas are triggered by
the presence of a tire assembly and the data is decoded and sent to the PLC. The PLC passes the data to the plant system for marriage
with the rest of the vehicle data.
Back-up Station:
The back-up station consists of a TPM Hand Held Reader and a small control panel with an HMI interface. The purpose of this station is to
manually read TPM stem serial numbers should the Main Station Antennas fail to read or are damaged. The back-up station is controlled by
the MCP and can be configured for different warning methods and vehicle containment.
